Dothan Criminal Defense Attorney
Accused of a Crime? Capps, Gil & Parker, LLC Can Help!
Attorney Adam E. Parker of Capps, Gil & Parker, LLC began his legal career in a criminal courtroom. Adam served as a prosecutor for the State of Alabama for slightly under two (2) years, but he quickly progressed from handling misdemeanor cases to sitting as lead trial counsel in felony jury trials. During his time at the District Attorney's Office, Adam sat as lead counsel or co-counsel in over 50 criminal jury trials, including a capital murder case.
Unmatched Experience in Criminal Defense
Since going into the private practice of law, Adam has litigated several criminal cases in both Alabama and Georgia. Adam has experience defending clients in cases ranging from DUIs and drug offenses to violent felonies, such as aggravated assault and attempted murder. Adam also has experience with "white collar" crime cases.
Civil Forfeiture Actions
Though they technically fall under civil law, Adam also has experience in forfeiture actions. Forfeiture proceedings occur when law enforcement confiscates the property of an individual charged with a crime and seeks to have that property forfeited and condemned to the State.
